CVCHÉ Houston (“CVCHÉ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website cvche.kitchen, the online ordering site order.cvche.kitchen, and our restaurant located in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Contact information you provide when you submit a form on our website (contact form, catering inquiry), place an order through our online ordering or POS system, or enroll in our loyalty program. This includes name, email address, and phone number.
  • Order and visit history from our point-of-sale and loyalty systems, including items purchased, dates of visits, and loyalty point balances.
  • Website usage data via cookies and analytics services (Google Analytics 4) — pages visited, device type, referring source.
  • Communications you send us — email, contact form messages, SMS replies to our marketing messages.

2. How we use your information

  • To fulfill and deliver your orders.
  • To operate our loyalty program and apply rewards.
  • To respond to your contact, catering, or customer-service inquiries.
  • To send you marketing communications about specials, new menu items, loyalty rewards, and events — by SMS (if you opt in) and email (if you provide consent or it is part of an existing customer relationship).
  • To improve our website, menu, and service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. SMS marketing — express opt-in, easy opt-out

This section governs how we use mobile phone numbers for SMS marketing and is incorporated by reference into our terms of service.

How you opt in

You will only receive marketing SMS messages from CVCHÉ if you have expressly opted in by one of the following methods:

  • Providing your mobile phone number and submitting the contact form or catering inquiry form on cvche.kitchen. The form displays a clear disclosure under the phone field stating that providing your number constitutes consent to receive marketing messages; you may leave the phone field blank to submit the form without opting in;
  • Texting START or JOIN to our messaging number (346) 292-LIME (5463);
  • Providing express written consent at our restaurant (e.g., a signed table-tent opt-in slip).

Providing a phone number to our point-of-sale or online ordering system when placing an order is not by itself an opt-in to marketing SMS — only the explicit consent methods above are.

What you’ll receive

Once opted in, you may receive up to 4 messages per month containing promotions, weekly specials, loyalty reward reminders, and announcements of new menu items or seasonal offers. Message frequency may vary.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. CVCHÉ does not charge you for receiving SMS, but your mobile carrier may charge for text messages and data per your plan.

How to opt out

You can opt out of CVCHÉ SMS marketing at any time by:

  • Replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message we send. Our system will confirm your opt-out and you will receive no further marketing messages from us.
  • Emailing info@cvche.kitchen with the subject “SMS opt-out” and the phone number to remove.

Opting out of marketing SMS does not affect transactional messages related to orders or service requests you have actively initiated.

No sharing of mobile data for marketing

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third party for their marketing purposes. We share information with service providers (such as Twilio, our SMS delivery platform, and Toast, our POS) only to the extent necessary for them to provide services to us. These providers are contractually required to protect your information.

4. Service providers we use

We use the following service providers to operate our business. Each has access only to the information needed to perform their function:

  • Toast — point-of-sale, online ordering, loyalty program.
  • Twilio — SMS marketing platform.
  • Resend — transactional and operational email.
  • GoHighLevel — customer relationship management for form submissions.
  • Supabase — database hosting.
  • Google Analytics — anonymized website usage analytics.

5. Your rights and choices

  • Access and correction: You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you by emailing info@cvche.kitchen.
  • Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal and operational record-keeping requirements.
  • Marketing opt-out: As described in Section 3, you may opt out of SMS marketing at any time by replying STOP. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, performance, and analytics (Google Analytics 4). You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but parts of the site may not work properly. We do not use cookies for advertising tracking.

7. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
